The following are straightforward steps all Capetonians
can take to ease the city's burden of waste:
Dispose of waste correctly
Find out where and how to legally dispose of your
waste, and about waste disposal and cleansing services
in your area.
Report littering and illegal
dumping
Report illegal dumping: call 021 424 7715.
Take part in clean-ups
Find out about volunteering for clean-ups in your
area. Contact The Fairest Cape (Tel: 021 462 2060).
Get your community, school
or workplace involved
Find a suitable programme to tackle waste where you
live and work. For ideas on how to get involved, see
